Thursday, March 2nd was Dr. Seuss's Birthday and National Read Across America Day. Dr. Seuss would have been 113 years old this year. To celebrate, we were so lucky to have Timber Joey and Captain Jack Jewsbury from the Timbers read Dr. Suess books to us at our assembly. All Llewellyn students received Rose City Reader Timber shirts and new Dr. Seuss books. On our way out of the cafetorium, our students gave fist bumps and high fives to Mr. Jewsbury! "When we root, we root for the TIMBERS!" What a cool way to start our day!
