Today, Thinking People's Theatre came to do an assembly for our 4th and 5th graders. The play was called "I Just Don't Buy That". The students learned about how they can be responsible consumers and be skeptical of advertisements. The actors were full of enthusiasm! They skits were fun and engaging. The actors dressed up as doctors and nurses who were trying to bring life back to a year old cell phone. They also dressed as game and shoe zombies, ninjas, and had a "who's greener battle". Both teachers and students were laughing hysterically and learned something too!

Our students have been extracting bones from a mystery items (owl pellets). They were meticulous about cleaning the bones off using the tools provided. They separated the bones into categories based on their own criteria. They will try to identify the animals that the bones belong to using books, posters, and other resources.
